Probably Stolen dumping ground Guide
Updated
The Probably Stolen dumping ground is an after-hours scavenging spot, not a shop. The GameWikiStation fan site says this build starts you with 5 searches, plus 2 from the Proficient Scavenger starting perk, and that searches can cause minor or major wounds. Only the items you pack into your pockets or backpack leave with you. The table below lists every entry the All Things How items list ties to the dumping ground, plus the GameWikiStation pool names, with the per-pull odds that All Things How gives.

What the Probably Stolen dumping ground yields, with per-pull odds
Junk is the most common find at the Probably Stolen dumping ground. All Things How gives junk a 55.25% chance per pull, and every other entry on its dumping ground list sits between 0.17% and 2.45%. The highest non-junk odds go to Lead Pipe at 2.45%, followed by Empty Beer Bottle, Glass Shard, Ruined Module, and Scratcher Ticket at 1.95%.
The table is sorted by per-pull odds. Rows marked with a dash come only from the GameWikiStation list, which gives pool membership but no odds, and its own note says pool membership is not a guaranteed yield or final drop probability.

Attempts, wounds and when a search stops
GameWikiStation says this build starts with 5 searches, with 2 extra from the Proficient Scavenger starting perk. The Degenerative Osteoarthritis perk takes searches away over time.
Each dig raises your chance of getting hurt, according to All Things How. Injury and other eligibility checks can still stop further searches, so read the remaining attempts and your condition on screen instead of assuming you have the full allowance.
A Flashlight is counted in the wound-risk calculation, but it does not make scavenging injury-proof. The Probably Stolen Wiki fan site night scavenging guide also advises bringing a pack and a bandage before you go.
Pack loot before you leave the dumping ground
The packing note on GameWikiStation follows All Things How's illustrated guide. It says to drag wanted finds from the ground into Pocket #1, Pocket #2, or your selected backpack before you press Return. Each pocket holds one item, and anything left on the ground is lost.
Ctrl-click transfer is disabled on this screen, so you have to pack by dragging. All Things How also says you can only bring home what fits in your pockets and your backpack.
Tools, extra finds and where to buy tools
According to GameWikiStation, some tools add extra chances at other finds. A Screwdriver adds Metal Screws, a Wire Cutter adds Wire, and a Welder adds Scrap metal. A Scav Scanner adds another roll of the normal loot pool, upgraded with Electronic Parts. Not owning a small Satchel gives an extra chance of finding one, and other random branches add a degraded music cassette and a Mouse Trap. These are chance-based additions, not guaranteed rewards every search.
Steam players disagree on tool stacking. In the do tools stack? thread, one reply says "No, tools dont stack", while a later reply says tools do stack when used in the dumping ground, or at least their effects do, based on the demo.
To buy a specific tool, GameWikiStation points to Jackson's workshop. It also says spare finds may be useful in the Underground Exchange.
Our take on this dumping ground
Read the dumping ground as a source of parts and junk, not a dependable income line. Junk has by far the highest odds, while the most valuable entries come up rarely. On All Things How's list, Crowbar (75 credits) sits at 0.33% per pull and Eco Module (100 credits) at 0.17%.
